Acutec is participating in the What’s So Cool About Manufacturing video contest for a second year. Hosted by the Northwest Industrial Resource Center, this annual competition pairs students from Erie and Crawford County schools with manufacturers to demonstrate the strength of manufacturing in our region.
During the 2018-2019 academic year, Acutec was fortunate enough to be partnered with students from Meadville Area Middle School. Their film earned three awards including best overall and earned the team a place at the state competition.
For the 2019-2020 academic year, we have partnered with the Cochranton Jr./Sr. High School students. They have created a wonderful Wizard of Oz-themed video that showcases our Meadville facility and features the iconic characters on a quest to learn about manufacturing.
You can help these students win the competition. Voting takes place from Monday, March 16 at 12:00 a.m. through March 18 at 11:59 p.m. Vote as many times as you like on each of these days.
