MEADVILLE, PA September 18, 2018 – Acutec Precision Aerospace, Inc. will host a Manufacturing Day 2018 event on Thursday, October 4th at its Meadville facility to showcase its capabilities and encourage people to explore career opportunities in manufacturing. The company will offer tours of its facility, and visitors can view several interactive exhibits.
“Because our community supports us so strongly, we love opportunities like this where we can share our process and showcase our machinery,” said Nick Ozorak, Digital Media Specialist for Acutec. “While it is a fun event to host every year, this year is particularly special due to it being our 30th Anniversary.”
This free event will take place on Thursday, October 4th between 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. All guests are required to wear closed-toed shoes. Tours will take approximately 30 minutes and showcase the wide variety of machinery used to manufacture aerospace components. Exhibits include a paper airplane activity which simulates our production workflow, a rotor assembly showcasing how our components are used in helicopters, and a Mercury-era spacesuit display courtesy of the Crawford County Historical Society. Job seekers can visit our Job Application Station to speak with a hiring representative, and COOL 101.7 will also be broadcasting live from the event. Food and drink will be provided.
Organized by the National Association of Manufacturers, this event highlights the importance of manufacturing to the economy and showcases the job opportunities within this industry to local youth. Acutec plans to demonstrate how its work and employees contribute to the aerospace industry on an international level.
