This fall, Acutec Precision Aerospace will host our annual celebration of Manufacturing Day on October 3, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 at our Meadville Facility.

Organized by the National Association of Manufacturers, the event promotes the importance of manufacturing and showcase opportunity for students, educators, and community members to actively participate or join the field. Acutec hopes to engage a new generation, debunk misconceptions, demonstrate what manufacturing looks like in Crawford County, and show how we contribute to the Aerospace industry on an international level. Food and drinks will be provided and the event is free for the public.

Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to explore our facility with a current Acutec employee, participate in a paper rocket activity which simulates our production workflow, take a photo with a Mercury-era space suit in honor of our Apollo 11 campaign, and more including:

  • Penny for your thoughts: see 10,000 pennies lined up face-to-face illustrating the precision of our manufacturing
  • Interactive Precision Dart Board
  • Tour of our New Robot Arm
  • Manufacturing History Display
  • RoboBOT Area
  • Photos with our Acutec Truck
  • Rotor Assembly

Additionally, for those interested in starting a career with Acutec, we will have a Job Application Station where prospective employees can learn how to join our flight crew. No matter the age, there will be something for everyone in the family!
