We are delighted to announce that Elisabeth Smith, President and CEO
of Acutec Precision Aerospace, has been appointed to the Aerospace Industries
Association (AIA) Board of Governors Executive Committee for 2025!
“I am deeply honored to join this esteemed group of leaders in the aerospace and
defense sectors,” said Elisabeth Smith, President and CEO of Acutec Precision Aerospace.
“I am eager to contribute to the Executive Committee and work collaboratively to drive
innovation, foster strong industry partnerships, and support continued growth in our
field.”
The AIA, which represents over 320 manufacturers and suppliers across all segments and
levels of the aerospace and defense industries, is governed by an Executive Committee.
This committee meets regularly to provide policy guidance and includes CEO-level officers
from major aerospace companies across the country. The AIA serves as a platform for
government and industry representatives to exchange ideas and address non-competitive
issues affecting the aerospace and defense sectors.
As a member of the Executive Committee, Smith will play a crucial role in guiding the
organization, ensuring adherence to AIA’s mission, and enhancing programs and services
for its members. Executive Committee members are chosen for their industry knowledge,
unique skills, and high-level management positions within their respective companies.
They serve two-year terms.
Congratulations to all the members of the 2025 AIA Executive Committee.
