Meadville, PA — Acutec Precision Aerospace opened its doors wider than ever before on Manufacturing Day, welcoming the community to its headquarters at 13555 Broadway for an evening of innovation, inspiration, and family fun. From 4:00 to 7:00 PM, the company rolled out the “red floors” (a playful nod to its signature factory flooring) and invited guests to experience the future of manufacturing firsthand.
The event, billed as Acutec’s biggest MFG Day yet, drew families, students, and tech enthusiasts from across the region. Attendees were treated to a dynamic showcase of cutting-edge aerospace technology, interactive exhibits, and expert chats from Acutec’s passionate team. From robotics demonstrations to career conversations with engineers, the event offered something for everyone.
“Our goal was to make manufacturing accessible, exciting, and engaging for all ages,” said Elisabeth Smith, President and CEO of Acutec. “We want the community to see what’s possible right here in Meadville, and maybe even inspire the next generation of innovators.”
The family-friendly atmosphere was amplified by games, giveaways, and classic carnival treats like cotton candy and fresh popcorn. Children explored hands-on stations while parents learned about career opportunities and the company’s role in advancing aerospace technology.
As the sun set over Meadville, the energy inside Acutec remained high, a testament to the power of community, curiosity, and the promise of a bright manufacturing future.
