MEADVILLE, PA – In a move to support local business, Acutec Precision Aerospace, Inc. has entered an agreement with Tarot Bean Roasting Co. of Meadville for the latter company to become its sole supplier of coffee.
“Michael Reed and his wife Tanya own Tarot Bean. I have been getting coffee there for many months and I like their coffee,” said Rob Smith, Executive Chairman. “Even more importantly I like them, the fact that they have a dream and work hard to achieve it, and they make really really good coffee.”
Acutec is being supplied a special coffee blend which was voted on by employees. Tarot Bean provided Acutec with three different blends, with the winning one being described as a medium roast with “dark chocolate and almond tones with a brown sugar sweetness.” Tarot Bean Roasting Co.’s new roasting facility is located in the Crawford Business Park right next to one of Acutec’s facilities. The name of the roast is Acubrew and was suggested by five employees from our Meadville and Saegertown facilities.
“It’s incredible to have this opportunity to collaborate with a local business, and in this case it’s literally our next-door neighbor,” said Nick Ozorak, Digital Media Specialist. “This is a means of using our company’s growth to strengthen our connection to the local business community.”
“The key is that he would provide significantly better coffee at no additional cost compared to our previous supplier,” added Smith.
The coffee is a blend provided exclusively for Acutec employees for their workspace. In addition, employees will have the option of buying additional bags of this blend for use at home.
