Acutec receives NADCAP Accreditation for Weld

Nadcap recognizes Acutec for its commitment to continual improvement in aerospace quality

It is an honor to announce that Acutec Precision Machining Inc. has received Nadcap accreditation for Weld under PRI oversight.

“In our efforts to be a one-stop-shop for our customers, we recognized that welding was an important process that we could perform to provide a higher level service to our customer base.” says company president Elisabeth Smith. “We are proud of our team that put in the hard work to get our procedures and processes meeting rigorous Aerosapace standards. Acutec is now Nadcap accredited special process list for welding – joining our NDT, coatings, EDM, and passivation qualifications. Quality is at the foundation of all our operations and this will help to cement customer confidence in processes as we aim to exceed industry standards.”

“Our quality amd manufacturing teams have a proactive approach to researching new Nadcap requirements and implementing them into our processes and procedures,” added Dave Tiffany, quality director for Acutec. “Since our first certification in 2002, we are pleased to have an outstanding record in passing audits, as well as increasing the number of processes that are certified.

Acutec received Nadcap accreditation for demonstrating their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications.

“Achieving Nadcap accreditation is not easy: it is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at manufacturing quality product through superior special processes. Companies such as Acutec work hard to obtain this status and they should be justifiably proud of it,” said Joe Pinto, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute. “PRI is proud to support continual improvement in the aerospace industry by helping companies such as Acutec be successful and we look forward to continuing to assist the industry moving forward.”
